Big African Shaped Mixed Metal Earrings in Sterling Silver & Gold Brass - Bold Exotic Vintage Designer Jewelry

Big, bold and totally unique! These artisan handcrafted earrings are shaped like Africa. They are made out of brass and sterling silver. The brass shapes have a pierced (cut out) design and have sterling silver wire threaded thru them. The top sterling shapes also have a pierced design and a very subtle texture. These earrings are quite unusual and will definitely make a statement. I purchased them brand new in the 90s at the Museum of Fine Arts gift shop in Houston, TX. They were created by a designer, but I can't recall the name. A great artisan piece of jewelry to add to your collection!

MEASUREMENTS: They measure 3/1/4" in length and 1-3/4" at widest point. They have soldered sterling silver posts and clutches.

CONDITION: Very good- only worn a few times. They have an antiqued patina, but you can polish them if you prefer them shiny.
